Red Wines

Tierra Alta Merlot 2017, Central Valley, Chile
Plum, blackcurrant and cranberry aromas burst from the glass. The palate is juicy and fresh with soft red fruits and a hint of green pepper. A really easy drinking Merlot.

Cabriz Colheita Seleccionada 2015, Quinta de Cabriz, Dao, Portugal
Red berries and a pure harmonious nose. Wild cherries and soft supple tannins on the entry.

Chateau Maledan 2015, Bordeaux Superieur, France
A Bordeaux bargain that could easily be mistaken for a St. Émilion. Blackcurrant, cedar and leafy characters fill the palate, making this the ideal dependable.

Valserrano Rioja Crianza 2014, Bodegas de la Marquesa, Spain
This Crianza Rioja represents lots of wine for the money. Classic in style with a woody structure, off-set with lovely silky, velvety fruit (wild strawberries, forest fruits) that marry fantastically well together.

Rapaura Springs Pinot Noir 2015, Marlborough, New Zeland
Succulent dark cherry and raspberry fruit aromas combine with a hint of underlying spicy oak on the nose. The palate consists of finely balanced ripe tannins, oak and sweet berry fruits. Excellent structure, the wine finishes smooth and elegant.

District 7 Cabernet Sauvignon 2014, Monterey, California
Concentrated blackberry and black raspberry flavors are framed by well-integrated tannins.

XX de Corbin 2012, Saint Emilion, Bordeaux, France
Already developing some more mature aromas, the silky red and dark berry fruit is backed up with savoury notes of tobacco, new leather and earth. This remains very juicy and a particularly classic Claret.

Châteauneuf-du-Pâpe 2015, Domaine du Vieux Lazaret, Rhône Valley, France
This ultra tasty red has all the hallmarks you want - peppery, spiced, dark fruit, olive tapenade - with surprising elegance.

Savigny-Les-Beaune 'Les Vergelesses' 2015, Domaine Jean Fery & Fils, Burgundy
Deep cherry in colour with garnet highlights. On the nose, small red and black fruits together with crushed violets. A delicious top end Pinot Noir with oodles of class. A real joy to drink.

Brunello di Montalcino 2012 'La Manella', Cortonesi, Tuscany, Italy
Ripe black cherry and forest fruit flavours with additional light perfumed fragrant spices. The extended maturation in large oak barrels gives the wine fantastic concentration.

Gevrey-Chambertin 'Vielles Vignes' 2010, Herve Kerlann, Burgundy, France
This Gevrey Chambertin is silky smooth with plush fruit and subtle, floral aromas. The Vieilles Vignes (aged vines) also add real complexity that slowly reveals itself with time in the glass.
