Whilst our industry has been greatly affected by the latest developments concerning the spread of Covid-19 across the UK, we strive to continue offering the same great service Berkeley Catering was built on.

 

We operate robust health & hygiene policies on a daily basis, which we are continually strengthening with the advice and guidelines of the government to reduce any risks, and assure you we always put you, our customers, and employees first.

 

  • Berkeley Catering are compliant and certified with the latest government covid-19 health and safety regulations.
  • All staff and visitors are asked if they have any symptoms and have their temperature checked before entering our building.
  • All work stations are distanced and all staff and visitors are reminded to observe the 2 metre rule.
  • Extra Hand washing and Sanitiser Gel units have been made available to all employees.
  • All staff are being supplied with sufficient PPE including masks/visors, gloves and sanitiser.
  • Increasing the frequency of cleaning high touch areas such as door handles, lockers etc.
  • A one way system has been implemented throughout the premises.
  • Our transport team perform a contactless delivery and all vehicles and equipment are cleaned and sanitised regularly.
  • Any employee reporting flu like symptoms will be informed to contact the NHS on 111 or call their GP for advice and not to come into work. They should self-isolate for 14 days.
  • No employees are involved in international travel as a result of their role within the Company.
  • Any employee who knowingly comes into contact with someone that has recently come back from a country suffering from an outbreak of the virus must discuss the situation with their Manager and may be advised to contact 111. As a best practice they should get themselves self-tested

The Company continues to work on its hygiene practices to ensure it maintains the five stars awarded by the Food Standards Agency
